Looking Good ! Nice Job !
thanks!
is a driver support mount ( see link below for picture ) a thing I should consider ?
6moons audio reviews: Steph?n's Altec 604 Dream Speaker
It's not necessary as long as you are using T-nuts 9/16" long for 3/4 ply, and the heavy duty screws 1/4-20 x 1-1.25" I'm using 1".. Altec only ever installed 4 screws at 10-2 O'clock and 4-8 O'clock positions on 19's and 612's. You can however use all 8 holes for more support.
Hello again ,
Thanks for thumbs up on my first cabinent guys !
I really do hope I?m lucky this second time also ; so I get all the joints on this second cab equal to the first one... :)
And Altec Best : Important information you came with there with using T-nuts, never used T-nuts before...
But I?m posting now because (maybe a stupid question) :
I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations on where to place the crossover...
I?m maybe thinking on installing the crossover on one of the sidepanels inside the cabinet.
